Simple Happiness Boutique is a family dream brought to life by three women - Karmen (mother), Delaney (daughter), and Jamie (daughter-in-law). Together, we share a love for creativity, community, and family. We’re proud to have turned a shared vision into something truly special right here in the heart of Wellman, Iowa.

Our story began when Karmen and her husband, Pat, purchased our historic downtown building and received a grant to restore it. Though the space was once close to collapsing, Pat worked tirelessly to rebuild and revive it, preserving its beauty and charm. Thanks to his dedication, Simple Happiness Boutique now shines again, with a cozy short-term rental upstairs owned and managed by Pat and Karmen.

Running this boutique is a true family effort. While each of us also juggles other careers, parenting, and homeschooling, our kids and grandkids are often by our side in the store. They are learning, helping, and bringing so much joy to our days. We love teaching them the values of hard work, entrepreneurship, and genuine customer care.

Inside our boutique, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated collection of women’s and youth girls’ clothing, baby and toddler items, home décor, seasonal pieces, kitchen goods, accessories, books, toys, and games-something for everyone to enjoy. We proudly carry trusted brands like Solly Baby, Grizzly Coolers, and HydroJug, among many others.

We also offer suit and tux rentals and purchases by appointment, and we’re excited to be expanding into décor rentals for weddings and special occasions.
